Terms of Service — Revolution Macro Support
Effective Date: April 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://support.revolutionmacro.com and related support features operated by Revolution Software LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) (collectively, the “Support Site”). By using the Support Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Support Site.
Separate terms: The Revolution Macro software, dashboard, and backend services are governed by our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Those documents are published at the legal links on https://revolutionmacro.com and https://dashboard.revolutionmacro.com — see [CONFIRM MAIN POLICY URLS] in our deployment checklist. Nothing on the Support Site grants you any license to the Revolution Macro Software; the Software is proprietary and closed source, and your rights to it are defined only in the main Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Support Site. If you are at least 13 but under 18, you may use the Support Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use the Support Site if your use would violate applicable law in your jurisdiction.
2. Description of the Support Site
The Support Site provides:
- Live support — chat-style tickets tied to a pseudonymous browser session.
- Optional notifications — email and browser push when staff reply, if you opt in.
- Troubleshooting articles — informational content only.
- Staff tools — for authorized team members who sign in with Discord.
The Support Site is free to use. It does not process payments.
3. No member account required
- Members do not create a password account. We identify your ticket thread using the
rm_memberHttpOnly cookie. - Email is optional and is used only to send reply notifications if you request them.
- Staff sign in with Discord OAuth and must hold the configured staff role in our Discord guild.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against our team or others.
- Spam the Support Site, open excessive tickets, or attempt to evade rate limits or security controls.
- Submit unlawful content or content that infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights — including doxxing or posting another person’s personal information without permission.
- Upload or transmit malware, exploits, or other harmful code through any channel we provide.
- Submit passwords, API keys, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other highly sensitive data unless we explicitly ask you to provide it through a secure channel.
- Attempt to access staff areas, other users’ tickets, or non-public APIs without authorization.
- Probe or scan the Support Site for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure process we approve in writing.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or entitlement to support.
We may close, delete, or refuse tickets that violate these Terms or harm our ability to support other users.
5. Content you submit
You retain ownership of text and information you submit in tickets. You grant Revolution Software LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display to authorized staff, and — if we enable Discord forum mirroring — reproduce your messages in our private Discord forum, solely to operate the Support Site and assist you.
You represent that you have the rights to submit your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Notifications
- Email and web push are opt in. We may use [INSERT EMAIL PROVIDER] or another transactional email provider.
- You can stop email by not providing an address, asking us to remove it, or using unsubscribe links where provided.
- You can disable push notifications in your browser or OS settings.
7. Discord
Staff authentication and optional forum workflows use Discord. Discord, Inc.’s terms and privacy policy apply to Discord’s services. We are not responsible for Discord’s availability, moderation, or data practices.
8. Troubleshooting articles
Articles are provided for information only. They are not warranties that the Revolution Macro Software will behave in any particular way. We may edit or remove articles at any time.
9. Proprietary rights
The Support Site’s software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Revolution Software LLC or our licensors and are proprietary. Except for the limited rights necessary to use the Support Site through your browser, no license is granted to you. No source code license is granted by these Terms.
10. Termination and suspension
You may stop using the Support Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, delete tickets, or block sessions that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
To request deletion of personal data associated with the Support Site, contact [email protected].
Sections that by their nature should survive (including §§5, 9, and 11–15) survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SUPPORT SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY MINIMUM RESPONSE TIME, THAT YOUR ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED, OR THAT THE SUPPORT SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- NO INDIRECT DAMAGES. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
- CAP ON LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SUPPORT SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED U.S. $50.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
13. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Revolution Software LLC and its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Support Site; (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (c) your violation of Discord’s terms; or (d) content you submit.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws.
Subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections, you agree that the state and federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Support Site, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Arbitration: These Terms do not include a binding arbitration or class-action waiver. Add such a clause only after counsel review.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with a new Effective Date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where practicable (for example, on the Support Site). Your continued use after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Support Site.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement — These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Company regarding the Support Site.
- Severability — If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver — Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment — You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure — We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Electronic communications — You consent to receive notices electronically.
